In August of 1979, electronics engineer Robin (Bob) William Mackie founded REDARC Electronics in South Australia. Initially, the company focused on designing and manufacturing vehicle ignition systems, with the name REDARC believed to be inspired by the "red arc" spark in the first ignition system.

For four decades, REDARC has dedicated itself to extensive research, innovative design, meticulous development, and local manufacturing of a diverse array of electronic voltage converters, power supplies, battery chargers, brake controllers, and trailer braking products.

What continues to stand out about Redarc, even after all these years, is that their products are crafted right here in Australia! As a family business that also employs locals at Everything Battery Yeppoon, we are delighted to have Redarc as a key valued partner!
