Battery Warranty

Our products come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. In the event of a major failure in the products, you are entitled to choose from a replacement, repair, refund, or compensation for the decrease in value resulting from the major failure. In some cases, compensation for reasonably foreseeable loss or damage that you may suffer as a result of the major failure may also be available. If a minor failure occurs, you have the option, at our discretion, to have the goods repaired or receive a refund. All batteries sold by Everything Battery Yeppoon are covered by a warranty for workmanship and defects. The warranty period and application details are either stamped on the battery or displayed on the front and top labels of each battery.

The warranty will be void if the battery has been subjected to any of the following

For all batteries:

  1. Overcharging

  2. Abuse

  3. Faulty vehicle charging system

  4. Neglect

  5. Left with a low charge (Sulphation)

  6. Tampering with markings

  7. Flat battery

  8. Installing a battery with lower capacity than the original equipment specification

  9. Connecting in either series or parallel with a battery of different age

For conventional batteries:

  1. Failure to maintain acid levels

  2. Adding liquid other than distilled water

  3. Broken or removed vent plugs

Please note: Proof of purchase is required for any warranty claims.

Warranty Claim Procedure

  1. CONTACT US within 2 working days of discovering the failure, either by:

    1. Visiting Everything Battery store in Yeppoon: 35 Tanby Road, Yeppoon, QLD, 4703

    2. Calling: (07) 4930 2913

    3. Emailing: info@everythingbattery.com.au

  2. Provide your proof of purchase, and where required by a Everything Battery representative, proof of correct operation and maintenance.

  3. The battery may need to be taken to Everything Battery Yeppoon for testing to determine the cause of failure. In most cases, this test can be done in store. However, if the battery requires charging to test correctly, it may take up to 5 working days, and the cost of which reverts to Everything Battery Yeppoon only if the claim is found to be valid.

  4. You may be contacted should we have further questions relating to the application or usage of the battery.

  5. You will be notified by an Everything Battery representative of the outcome of your claim within 2 working days after completion of testing and adjudication.
