What is AGM?
AGM stands for Absorbent Glass Mat. Ritar AGM batteries use a design in which the electrolyte (a mixture of sulphuric acid and water) is absorbed into a glass mat separator that is placed between the battery plates. This design immobilises the electrolyte and ensures it is uniformly distributed across the plates.
VRLA - Maintenance Free
One of the significant advantages of Ritar AGM batteries is that they are VRLA maintenance-free. VRLA refers to Valve-Regulated Lead-Acid batteries, which are known for being low-maintenance rechargeable batteries. Due to their specific design, VRLA batteries do not need regular water refills.
