HOLDEN Colorado Canopy
We recently received a simple request from our HOLDEN Colorado customer: "I want a Dual Battery System that will enhance our FAMILY camping experience!" In essence, it needed to be user-friendly for the entire family and capable of powering their travel fridge, LED lighting, and charging various devices such as mobile phones etc…. Designed as a fully self-sufficient energy system, it boasts ample energy storage and solar power to ensure it remains fully charged at all times. Enjoy the results!
Lithium Battery 130 a/h
Among the myriad battery options, this customer opted for a slimline lithium battery. With its long and slender shape, it snugly fits against the canopy headboard, maximising usable storage space in the canopy. The 135 amp-hours (a/h) of lithium battery power ensure an ample energy supply, providing enough capacity to power most camp sites for an entire weekend without the need for recharging.
Intelli-Charge System
The Projecta Intelli-Charge dual battery charger serves two key functions:
Operates as a DC-DC charger, effectively charging the lithium battery from your alternator while you're driving.
Additionally, it functions as a solar panel controller, regulating the power generated by the solar panels and directing it into the lithium battery.
L.E.D Lighting / Dimmer
The canopy of this Holden Colorado dual cab Canopy features three lift-up doors, and the customer requested an LED strip light mounted under the lid of each one. Equipped with dimmers, each LED can be easily adjusted in brightness. Additionally, each strip light offers a choice between white or orange LED color options. (The orange LEDs attract fewer bugs.)
