Dual Battery System - Isuzu MU-X

Space Saving and Powerful!

We were recently assigned the challenge of customising an Isuzu MU-X dual battery setup. Faced with the constraint of being unable to fit an auxiliary battery under the car bonnet and a scarcity of storage space in the rear of the vehicle, we had to get a little creative! That didn't stop us, and we're excited to share the innovative solution with you. Enjoy the outcome!

Slimline Lithium Battery

As an SUV with limited space for family luggage storage, we had to get a little creative when it came time to finding a suitable location for mounting a 100-amp lithium battery in the Isuzu MU-X. Enter the slimline 100-amp Lithium, which proved to be the perfect fit for the Isuzu's rear storage compartment. It seamlessly integrated, almost as if it was tailor-made for the space!

Concealed Redarc Charger’s

When it comes to in-car Dc-Dc chargers, the Australian-made Redarc range stands out prominently. In our Dual Battery System installation for the Isuzu MU-X, we incorporated a 40-amp charger. Thanks to its compact design, we strategically mounted it behind the rear 1/4 panel, on the driver's side. Neatly concealed & easily accessible if needed!

Aesthetically pleasing, practical & easy to reach! Includes a digital voltage display.

  • 1x Cigarette lighter style Plug

  • 1x Engel Fridge Plug

  • 1x USB Plug
